Welcome to Posh Bear Australia! 🧸

My name is Nadia, I’m a mother of three daughters, originally from the Czech Republic.

My handmade journey began in Scotland in 2015 under the name Namumade where I created keepsakes, dolls and organic baby clothing. My pieces were shipped all over the world from Greenland and Fiji to Hong Kong, the Netherlands, North America etc.

In 2018 after relocating to Canada and briefly pausing my shop, I discovered that someone had stolen and misused my original brand name and domain Namumade, using it to promote unrelated, low-quality products. To protect my work and rebuild trust, I launched a new identity: Posh Bear Canada. Despite the setback, I was able to rebuild quickly and was recognised as an Etsy Top Seller during the pandemic thanks to my handmade masks.

In 2024, our family moved to Australia and so began Posh Bear Australia, where I continue crafting memory bears, heirloom toys, and sustainable gifts, always made with care, story and heart.
